Leigh Anne Pots Another Hole-in-One

I guess you have to be one of the Ellis clan. On Friday, Leigh Anne Ellis made a hole-in-one, her third such feat and second on the Brockville Country Club's Little Misery (hole # 9). You will note, down below, Brent Ellis got a hole-in-one earlier this month.
Leigh Anne used a wedge and was playing from the yellow tees. Playing with Leigh Anne were Lucy Pouliot, Kitty Kelly and Sharon Ellis.
Congratulations Leigh Anne on a great shot!

BCC Welcomes New Assistant Pro

Ron Healy, BCC Club Professional is pleased to welcome to the Brockville Country Club Derek MacDonald (at right) as the Club's new CPGA Assistant Professional. It is actually a home coming for Derek as he grew up playing golf at the BCC.
MacDonald is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, and most recently was employed by the Smuggler's Glen Golf Course.
Derek will assist Ron in giving lessons to our many members and is familiar with the many new techniques. Also Derek has arranged for a "Club Fitting" kit and can work with members in getting a set of clubs that are just right for the individual. This Club Fitting service is also available to the community at large. And as the BCC has a driving range, clubs can be tried before buying, a practice highly recommended. All of us at the BCC welcome Derek to the Brockville Country Club.
